Inspector Findings & Cause
During rework in Bay RW-01, pallet P08 was determined to have severe load shift (>15° tilt) with sheared bottom runners and creased lower cases from hard braking on the I-70 Floyd Hill descent. Requires full manual restack, replacement Grade-A pallet exchange, machine re-wrap, and corner board installation.

- Carefully de-stack 72 cartons of bottled soda to prevent bottle rupture.
- Discard fractured hardwood runner; provide certified Grade-A GMA exchange pallet.
- Inspect every layer for liquid seepage or micro-fractured glass seals.
- Hand-stack in interlocked pinwheel configuration onto new pallet.
- Apply 4 full-length heavy-duty corner boards and machine stretch wrap (80 gauge, 18-layer pre-stretch).
- Apply 4 high-tensile polyester bands with metal crimp seals.
- Verify laser vertical plumbness (<1° deviation) prior to staging in Bay ST-03.
